RESULTS OF AORTA FREEZING IN CATTLE
The aorta frozen in liquid nitrogen has obvious wave-like swellings with simultaneous bulging of medial fibres.
The aorta frozen with AEF has practically preserved the structure of living tissue.
TISSUE HISTOLOGY AFTER AEF
All three tissue samples did not undergo destruction after Acoustic Freezing and practically preserved the structure of non-frozen tissue.
COMPARISON OF SHOCK FREEZING IN LIQUID NITROGEN AND THE ACOUSTIC FREEZING TECHNOLOGY
AEF - wall of ram aorta. Preservation of the architectonics of all layers of the aortic wall is observed, in the preserved cells the intact wall and nucleus are clearly visible, no pathological changes are observed. Preservation of cellular substrate was 95-98%.
Liquid nitrogen - wall of ram aorta. Disturbance of vascular wall architectonics, heterogeneity of media intima complex, pronounced phenomena of cytolysis.
